EXT
Cement Extenders
Materials used to reduce slurry density or extend volume in oil-well cement designs while maintaining acceptable strength development.
Application
Primary cementing where lower density or extended slurry volume is required. Bentonite, pozzolanic extenders and microspheres are not interchangeable — specify target density and strength.
Technical characteristics (quality certificate)
Typical values as stated on a mill quality certificate (passport) for a standard commercial grade. Actual lot values are confirmed in the COA / TDS for the selected manufacturer.
Cement class compatibility
API Class A–H (per additive type)
API 10A / ISO 10426-1

Extender selection affects thickening time, fluid loss and compressive strength. Lab slurry design is recommended.
